Mongol Cavalry – Inspiration

I stumbled across this picture amongst one of my newsfeed items posted on the Complex Solutions web site:



It’s of a Mongolian cavalry demonstration in honour of the 800th anniversary of Genghis Khan.  Useful for inspiration as I’ve some unarmoured cavalry to paint next.

I did a quick search to see if there was any other pictures, or videos, of the celebration available but drew a blank.  I’ll try later when I’ve more time.   Found some:
