Scenic Effects & Painting Patterns

I’ve just stumbled across Neldoreth’s web site An Hour of Wolves & Shattered Shields from Canada.  For me the main highlights are:

1. The excellent article on how to make a 15 mm river or waterway.  There are really clear  photos as well as an effective painting guide. 
2. The helpful article on painting patterns. The illustrations make it easy to copy and apply to your own figures.

I’ll be using the first article when I get round to finishing the waterway currently mouldering in the garage. I’m not sure I’ve still got the eyes for painting patterns like this in15 mm but the method is worth noting.
