15 mm Later Macedonian Pike (Essex) & Illyrian Cavalry (Forged in Battle)

I've written a few text heavy posts recently, so here's a picture hevay post to redress the balance. These units completed the army I took to the KITN at York in October.

These are all MPA83 Seleucid: Phalangites with MPA2a and MPA2b Macedonian, Greek or Thracian: Foot Officers and Standard Bearers. I decided not to use transfers as the shields are very convex (life's too short).

The above are from from Forged in Battle's WE-TH03 Illyrian Light Cavalry. The horses were still a pain to straighten and don't you just love stripes?

Nearly forgot: all photos were taken with my new smartphone camera. Nice and quick. Very pleased I made the switch.
