Recently Painted Miniatures

The lead mountain shrinks a little bit.

This afternoon I finished the figures for a general's element for my Late Polish/Lithuanian army.  I've to varnish and base them but here's a few WIP photos of the general riding the mandatory white horse:

The figure is from XMED1 from Essex Miniatures. The others will feature in the photo's of the finished element.

As a little extra here's a photo of some recently finished gabions from Navwar.  I've been meaning to do these for at least a couple of years. They are destined to appear as fortifications for my TYW armies.

When painting these I decided to experimented with an extreme cartoon style rather than aim for something more realistic.  I'm happy with the way they turned out especially as they only took three days from start to finish.
