DBMM For the Befuddled – Part 6a

Two weeks ago I posted a trial grid for PIP costs covering the difficult evolution and irregular ineptness sections of the movement rules which are by far the most confusing.

I promised I'd post a properly formatted version and the pdf is now available for you to download.

A word of explanation is required. I have integrated the new PIP grid into the deployment & movement sheet from Part 02 by adding a second page. There is some duplication but with a purpose. The first page covers things you need at the start of a game whilst the second covers things you need once the game has started.

Anyway, let me know what you think.

Update: Thu, 29 Jan 2009

The situation regarding the PIP cost for column formation has finally been sorted and so I have changed the image above and updated the pdf to reflect this. If you want to read all the gory details see Part 08 - Pip cost & column formation.

Update: Mon, 02 Mar 2009

I've realised that the use of the phrase "line to column" may mislead new players. It should really read "group to column" or simply column formation. The reasons why are explained in this post. The pdf file has been updated.
